MedTech Consulting LLC

I am Toshiyuki Kanamori, the representative of MedTech Consulting LLC.

There is no doubting that the Japanese potential in science and technology is on the top level in the world and the industry activities of the research and development (R&D) are competitive to advanced countries, except in some areas, one of which is biomedical concern.

I have engaged in R&D to apply chemical engineering to medical field over 30 years. In the last two decades, I was focusing on R&D to facilitate drug discovery utilizing novel cell-based assay technology. I was pleased to help many companies which have cutting-edge technologies but don’t have know-how to expand their businesses into medical field. I was able to practically help such companies to construct suitable R&D and business models not only by giving advices but also working as a client worker.

I have so many business connections including those with major Japanese pharmaceutical companies that I am pleased to play as a bridgehead between overseas and Japanese companies.
